Below are the questions we're asked most about the Pearson BTEC Level 3 — drawn from real parent and student conversations. Every regulatory answer is consistent with the IBCC's own published rules and Pearson's documentation, and we say "Pearson BTEC" throughout so there's no confusion with the unrelated local "BTEC Islamabad" organisation.

For the full detail behind these answers, start with the complete Pearson BTEC guide and the IBCC equivalence page. If your question isn't here, book a call and we'll answer it honestly.

Pearson BTEC — frequently asked questions

No. Kindl TEC teaches the Pearson BTEC Level 3 International, awarded by Pearson (UK) and recognised by the IBCC. 'BTEC Islamabad' (bteci.org.pk) is a separate, unrelated local organisation offering different, competency-based certificates that it states carry no equivalence with Pakistani boards or universities. They share a name but are not connected — always confirm you're looking at Pearson BTEC.
