Kindl TEC teaches the Pearson BTEC Level 3 across two pathways — Business, and Creative Digital Media Production. Here's what each covers, plus how units and Total Qualification Time build your qualification and your IBCC equivalence.
The Pearson BTEC Level 3 is built from units grouped into a pathway. Kindl TEC delivers two pathways, both taught on the real G-12, Islamabad campus and assessed through coursework rather than a single final exam.
The two Kindl TEC pathways
- Business. Marketing, finance, enterprise and management — applied commercial skills with strong progression into business degrees and a wide range of careers.
- Creative Digital Media Production. Video, design, digital content and media production — a portfolio-driven pathway for creative and digital fields.
How units work
Each unit is a block of assessed learning with its own criteria and its own grade (Pass, Merit or Distinction). Units carry a size, expressed in guided learning hours and, overall, as Total Qualification Time (TQT) — the estimated total study time, including independent work. You complete several units to build a qualification, and their grades combine into your overall result.
Build toward 18 Level 3 units for HSSC equivalence
Units aren't just about your grade — they're also what the IBCC counts. For HSSC (Humanities Group) equivalence, the IBCC requires 18 completed units at Level 3. Kindl TEC plans your pathway toward that target so recognition isn't left to chance. Full rule on the IBCC equivalence page.
